IDEAS DePo

Center for Development Policies IDEAS DePo is a non-profitable organization from the Republic of North Macedonia whose main objective is to provide reliable and competent expertise in the processes of design and implementation of economic and regulatory reforms in North Macedonia and the region.

IDEAS DePo was established in 2015 as a legacy organization of the USAID-funded Investment Development and Export Advancement Support (IDEAS) Project. Its founders are professionals with extensive experience in designing and implementing economic and legal reforms in North Macedonia, aimed at providing smooth transition from planned to market economy, creating sound business and regulatory environment, improving the efficiency and transparency of the policy-making process and strengthening the dialogue among all reform stakeholders.

IDEAS DePo implements a wide array of services aimed at achieving the organization’s objectives and contributing to the objectives of its partners:

- Resource Center
  Resource center for information and data on best practices and other data relevant for design and implementation of policies in the respective reform areas.
- Research and Analysis
  Preparation of relevant evidence-based analyses, reports and policy papers to provide a sound foundation for efficient process of economic policy creation.
- Expert Assistance
  Tailored advice and guidance to public and private sector stakeholders on multiple aspects of the economic reform process, including technical expertise, institutional advancement, organizational changes and human development.
- Capacity Building
  Organization and delivery of trainings, seminars, conferences, workshops and study visits for various participants aimed at strengthening their capacity to take part and contribute to the respective segments of the reform process.
- Awareness Building and Promotion
  Implementation of activities for increasing the awareness of affected stakeholders in specific reform areas and promoting the need for and benefits of domestically or internationally induced changes.
